On December 7, Prof. Gunchin Batbaatar, Vice President of Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences (MNUMS), paid a courtesy visit to President Takashi Wada.
During the courtesy call, the two parties primarily discussed further collaboration and cooperation between the two universities, and several specific proposals were presented.
Vice President Batbaatar, who brought a letter of invitation from MNUMS to President Wada, proposed the establishment of a Kanazawa University office within MNUMS.
President Wada, along with his willingness to accept the invitation request, proposed the launching of an alumni association of former and current Mongolian students to serve as a bridge between the two universities.
They also discussed the Government Scholarship Program for International Students, and confirmed their further collaboration in the future.
