On October 26, College of Human and Social Sciences, School of Teacher Education, fourth-year music education students held a music exchange event "Music for everyone @Noto" with local residents at the Sawayaka Koryukan Pluto in Anamizu Town on the Noto Peninsula.
For this event, Kanazawa University students planned a mini-concert for local residents. The students' serious attitude and energetic performance drew the participants in, and they moved their bodies to the music, creating a sense of unity throughout the venue. The rhythmic performance, which included percussion instruments (tambourines, maracas, etc.) and handclaps, particularly captured the hearts of the participants, creating a time filled with smiles. At the end of the program, some people even started dancing, and the event ended with a large ensemble performance by everyone in the venue.
Through music, local residents and university students interacted with each other and had a good time together. One of the students said: "I think this was an opportunity to give back to the people of Anamizu, who were so kind at the time of the disaster".
