On October 25, 16 Kanazawa University administrative and technical staff members cleaned up and removed household goods from a Mawaki house in Noto Town, which was damaged by the Noto Peninsula Earthquake 2024. 12 light truckloads of unusable household goods were removed and disposed.
Following the Noto Peninsula earthquake 2024 and the recent torrential rainfall in Okunoto, Kanazawa University has been involved in various activities related to recovery and reconstruction, including volunteer activities by students and research activities by researchers.
We will continue to develop various activities for the restoration and recovery of the affected areas with an all-Kanazawa University structure led by students, faculty, and staff.
