Kanazawa University participated in the "Giving Campaign 2024", a project to support student extracurricular activity groups, that took place from October 11 to 20.
The project is one of Japan's largest "student-run" fundraising event. 100 universities from across the country participated in the project this year. Kanazawa University received support from a total of 11,782 people during the period of the event, making it the fourth largest among the 100 universities in terms of the number of received votes. The amount of donations reached 2,910,500 yen, the third largest among the 100 universities.
The event had a great success. We received many messages of support, and it was encouraging for the Kanazawa University extracurricular activities groups and universities that participated in the event.
Your support will be used not only for extracurricular activities, but also for relief activities for the Noto Peninsula Earthquake of 2024 and the torrential rainfall in Okunoto in 2024.
