On July 30, ZATSUDAN NO CHIKARA "Let's talk about Noto and the future of Noto together!" was held at the Nakafukuri Cafeteria on the 1st floor of the Nakafukuri facility with Mr. Oya Ryusei, Director of the Social Welfare Corporation BUSSI-EN.
After the opening address from Kanazawa University President Wada, Mr. Oya gave a speech about his career and the support activities for disaster victims that his corporation is carrying out in Noto. In the speech, Mr. Mr. Oya said: "A sense of purpose in life is born from relationships between people" and conveyed the importance of creating a place for disaster victims without discrimination between people in different environments and situations.
Finally, Mr. Oya sent a message of encouragement to the students, saying: "The regret of not taking actions is big. It is necessary not to worry about difficult things, but instead take on the challenge of providing disaster relief"
Even after the event the participating students and Mr. Oya continued discussion about ways to support the disaster-stricken areas and important points to keep in mind.
