From April 8 to August 8, 2024, 14 international students from Leiden University in the Netherlands participated in a specially designed Exchange Program at Kanazawa University.
They experienced Japanese culture firsthand while taking classes of Japanese language and Japanese culture and society.
By assigning one Japanese student tutor to each of them, we were able to provide them with detailed support for their life in Japan while also allowing them to enjoy interaction with Japanese students. At the closing ceremony held on the last day of the program, Prof. Ota, Vice-Director of International Research Center for Japan Studies gave certificates of participation to the students.
