Kanazawa University is a comprehensive university with empirical research capabilities, setting up the goal of the contribution to society through Future-oriented Intelligence. In order to aim the sustainable development of the local community, Kanazawa University requesting Kanazawa City to acquire the site of the former Kanazawa College of Art, a public university corporation.
With the aim of creating a new center that brings together medical care, research, community, and environment, Kanazawa University have formulated the "Takara-machi - Tsuruma New Campus (tentative name) Development Master Plan" based on the concept of a "well-being campus that realizes the health of the mind, body and environment."
