On July 29, a public relations study session was held for Administrative Staff, who is involved in public relations at Kanazawa University.
In the first part of the session Kanazawa University Public Relations Strategy Office staff showed a brief overview of the public relations efforts for the University, and then a science communicator, Frontier Science and Social Co-creation Initiative URA explained the strategy for publicizing research results. Afterwards, Hiroaki Ochiai, Public Relations Director of the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art (Kanazawa) ? gave a lecture on public relations of the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, titled "Museum open to the city".
The second part of the event was held in a small group chat format, where members of the Public Relations Department of the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa, a graduate student from Kanazawa University who is doing an internship at the Public Relations Department of the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, and Kanazawa University staffs exchanged opinions about the challenges and concerns they face in their daily public relations work.
The participants said that ”It was also refreshing to see that the museum was also planning subsques and guesswork activities in line with the public's trends.””The public relations of 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art was explained in a concrete and easy-to-understand manner, and the content was directly related to practical work, making it very informative.”
