On June 29, lecturer Kisei Harada from Institute of Human and Social Sciences Faculty of Economics and Management, two students from School of Economics, and two students from the Faculty of Art and Design of the University of Toyama, worked together as art volunteers at the former Fukami Elementary School in Fukami-machi, Wajima City.
The former Fukami Elementary School is operated as a base for reconstruction support by the Fukami Reconstruction Council and the NPO Bogigumi, which runs a reconstruction cafeteria and is making efforts to enliven the community even though they themselves are victims of the disaster.
In the day of event four students cooperated in painting the instant house with vivid colors.

We will continue to work with the University of Toyama and the NPO Bogigumi in various support activities for the reconstruction of Fukami-machi.
