Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Osaka-Kobe pays a courtesy visit to President Wada

On June 19, Ms. Melanie Saxinger, Consul General of the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Osaka-Kobe, and two other delegates paid a courtesy visit to President Takashi Wada.

During the courtesy call, they discussed the achievements and future prospects of student and researcher exchanges between Kanazawa University and German universities. On June 6, 2024, Kanazawa university concluded first strategic partnership agreement with the University of Regensburg. During the discussion, they also exchanged opinions on research collaboration based on this agreement.

After the courtesy visit, there was a discussion with students from Germany and those with experience studying there, in a relaxed atmosphere.
