On May 11, Kanazawa University Volunteer Support Station, Kanazawa Institute of Technology Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Project SoRA, and Hokuriku University jointly conducted disaster relief activities at private homes in Wajima City. They searched for damaged goods at the site of demolished houses, removed household goods and home appliances, and assisted in transporting the belongings of disaster victims who were moving to temporary housing.
Kanazawa University In cooperation with nearby universities, the "Japan Disaster Relief Association (JDRA)" will continue its support activities for the earliest possible recovery and reconstruction of the disaster-stricken areas.
