The Department of Languages and Cultures at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS) in the United States recently donated $1,000 to support the Noto Peninsula earthquake recovery efforts, along with a warm message to Kanazawa University.
UCCS is one of the partner universities of the "Project for Strengthening Universities' Global Development Capabilities" that Kanazawa University has been implementing since this fiscal year. In particular, UCCS and Kanazawa University College of Human and Social Sciences School of Teacher Education have been actively exchanging students, such as mutually sending students to each other.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for your kindness and, encouraged by this support, as a university located in the affected area, we will renew our determination to work with all our might towards recovery, reconstruction, and support in the wake of the earthquake.
The Department of Language and Culture at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) in the United States recently sent a warm message to our university and made a donation of $1,000 to us in support of the 2024 Noto Peninsula earthquake relief efforts.
UCCS is one of the partner universities in the “Inter-University Exchange Project” that our university has been implementing since this year, and we have particularly active exchanges with the School of Teacher Education in the College of Human and Social Sciences, such as sending students to each other.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude for their kindness and encouragement for this support. We will continue to provide support and recovery from the earthquake as a university located in the disaster-stricken area.
