- 1st and 2nd year high school students and 4th and 5th year secondary school students enrolled in the same school at the time of the contest may participate as a team.

Event Details
Registration for the 7th Japanese Mathematics A-lympiad started on October 1.
The Japan Math A-lympiad is a Kanazawa University contest in which teams of high school students from all over Japan with outstanding math and English skills challenge themselves to solve global problems that may occur in the real world as posed by the International Math A-lympiad.
The top two teams in this competition will represent Japan in the world competition "Math A-lympiad" scheduled to be held in the Netherlands in mid-March. In addition, the winners of this contest will be eligible to apply for the Chozen special entrance examination (A-lympiad selection) at Kanazawa University.
We are looking forward to the participation of many teams from all over the country.
