On Tuesday, May 14, Mr. Donal Kenneally, Deputy Head of Mission and Counsellor of the Embassy of Ireland in Japan and Vice Chairman Shigekazu Kusune of Ishikawa EU Association (Honorary Professor of Kanazawa University) paid a courtesy visit to President Nakamura. At the meeting, there was a meaningful discussion about the possibility of further student exchanges between Kanazawa University and Ireland.
After the courtesy visit, Mr. Kenneally gave a lecture titled "Ireland and EU" at the event hosted at the Central University Library. Approximately 90 students and local residents attended the event.
