"Japan-Mexico Art and Culture Seminar at Kanazawa University" was held on this Monday, October 17, 2022, from 1:00 pm. to 4:00 pm. in Lecture Room 201 of the Humanities Building 1 at Kakuma Campus. The lecture was also streamed live-online via WebEx.
A group of six researchers from Mexico visited the campus, and four of them gave lectures on comparative research of art and culture of Japan and Mexico. According to Amadís Ross, general coordinator of the Mexican National Center for Research and Documentation of Art, this research has been conducted over a period of three years starting in 2019 and was published in this September as "Permanent Seminar on Art and Culture: Mexico-Japan, Volume 1. A Gaze at Cultural Intersections".
The book was presented to the University Central Library.
