As set forth in the Charter of Kanazawa University, Kanazawa University seeks to realize academic freedom and a safe environment in the belief that its activities contribute to the promotion of world peace and the sustainable development of humankind.
This military invasion into Ukraine is a challenge to our desire for peace in the international community and must not be tolerated. We are concerned about the harm caused to the people of Ukraine and strongly call for the immediate cessation of the invasion and a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
We will also make every effort to ensure that our international students and researchers, as well as their families are not disadvantaged by this situation.
