On September 7, the Kanazawa University English Language Capacity Building Program for Administrative Staff began.
This program is a part of the Top Global University Project (Super Global Universities) for which Kanazawa University has been chosen and aims to improve the English ability of the administrative staff who must take part in the globalization of education and research at the university and who are expected to be globally capable.
This is the second program following last year’s. Fifteen administrative staff in the Staff TOEIC Course aim to achieve at least Second Grade in the Test of Practical English or TOEIC 600 pts. Ten administrative staff in the Staff Business Course aim to improve their practical English ability. Native-speaking instructors at Kanazawa University Super Global ELP Center will teach them over the course of 3 months.
